Watch the Worst Batman Ever Blow His Cover

We can only hope that "The Dark Knight Rises" isn't anything like this.

For a while now, Collegehumor has been making Batman-related sketches, the conceit of which is that this version of the Caped Crusader is pretty much the worst Batman ever. From struggling to come up with the proper Batman voice to failing to mysteriously disappear after conversations with Commissioner Gordon, Batman just can't seem to do anything right.

In the latest video in the series, Batman delivers his famous "It's what I do that defines me" line, only to find that it gave up a bit more of his identity than he was planning on. He then spends a good deal of time and effort on attempting to convince everyone present that he isn't Bruce Wayne, and that Bruce Wayne isn't Batman, with disastrous results.

Really, the whole thing is an excuse for comedian Pete Holmes to do his pretty spot-on impression of Christian Bale's Batman voice. But it's a pretty funny excuse.

The real Batman hits theaters in late July in "The Dark Knight Rises."
